The Greek Golden Visa‘s new Innovative Startup investment option, first announced by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the 88th Thessaloniki International Fair back in September of 2024, seeks to divert more foreign direct investment towards productive, rather than passive investments such as a real estate.

As of this writing, the exact eligibility criteria for the Greek Startup Golden Visa have not been released, however various industry insiders close to the development believe that these will be published by the Greek authorities by as early as January of 2025.
